Understand the Ballot
Your ballot is more than a list of names. It's a list of jobs. Some of them decide your property tax rate. Some decide who gets prosecuted. Some decide how big your kid's class is. Most of them, nobody ever explained to you.
What you might find on a Tennessee ballot

Three things about YOUR ballot
One
Your ballot depends on your address — not just your county. Two neighbors on different sides of a street can get different ballots.
Two
Nashville's ballot is not like other counties'. Davidson County is a consolidated metro government. There is no county mayor race here — the Metro Mayor holds that job and is elected in 2027. Most Tennessee counties elect a county mayor on August 6. Nashville does not.
Three
Your congressional district may have changed. Davidson County is now in Districts 4, 6, and 7 — not District 5. You did not move. The lines did. What changed →
We do not show you your ballot. We show you what exists on your county's ballot, and what each of those jobs actually does. For your exact ballot, go to your county election commission. They have it. We don't — and we shouldn't. It would mean knowing where you live.
